Our expanded women’s health services provide comprehensive care, including routine gynecological exams, contraception counseling, and in-depth perimenopausal and menopausal management. For your comfort and convenience, we offer a range of gynecologic procedures such as IUD insertions and removals performed on-site, with the option of sedation to ensure a calm and comfortable experience.

Our Story
Roxboro Clinic was founded by a group of family doctors, specialists, and emergency physicians who shared a common frustration with the state of modern healthcare. We saw how hard it had become for patients to get the care they needed—waiting weeks to see their doctor, navigating disconnected systems, and too often ending up in the emergency room for problems that could have been managed in a timely primary care setting.
From the ER to the operating room to the family practice, we saw people fall through the cracks—not because of lack of skill or effort, but because resources were overstretched. Care teams were under-resourced, appointments were rushed, and coordination between providers was often delayed.
Roxboro Clinic was created to change that. We set out to build a clinic where patients could access comprehensive care quickly, where communication flows easily between doctors, specialists and allied health care providers. Where prevention is just as important as treatment.
Our model brings together family medicine, longevity and preventive care, and close collaboration with trusted local specialists. The result is a seamless experience—one built around relationships.

• Comprehensive medical history review and physical examination
• On site laboratory testing
• ECG and diagnostic imaging
• DEXA scans for bone heath and body composition
• Cardiovascular fitness testing with • VO2 max assessment
• Mobility and strength testing
• Nutrition assessment and counseling with our skilled dieticians

*Services covered under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) will be billed directly to Alberta Health. Patients will not be charged for insured services provided by physicians under AHCIP.

Is this covered by Alberta Health?
Roxboro Clinic offers services above and beyond what is covered by Alberta Health. Your membership fee covers this additional, comprehensive care. Visits related to insured services are billed to Alberta Health.
What if I need to see a specialist?
Our team maintains strong professional relationships and shares physical space with many of the city’s top specialists, allowing us to coordinate your care seamlessly and efficiently.
Can I still go to the ER if needed?
Absolutely. In fact, our on-call emergency doctors can guide you in making that decision—and if a trip to the ER is needed, we can help ensure you’re prepared when you go and communicate directly with on shift ER physicians to effect seamless care in the hospital.
